Last Tuesday, Cibes Lift Group had the pleasure of welcoming Benjamin Dousa, Sweden’s Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, to our headquarters in Gävle, Sweden
During the visit, the minister took a close look at how we work, from our production plant to our research and development centre (R&D Center) and our testing facility. It was a great opportunity for us to showcase the company’s operations and to talk about our products, our markets and the role Cibes Lift Group plays in the international trade industry
Cibes Lift Group is a fast-growing company with production sites across 3 continents: Peoria (USA), Gävle (Sweden), Gdansk (Poland) and Jiaxing (China). Our conversation focused on the company’s products, target markets and Cibes’ contribution to Swedish industry, as well as the development and innovation work that keeps our quality standards at the highest level
The visit was part of a programme in which the minister tours companies across Sweden to discuss the key issues facing the country’s export industry. Local politicians from Gävle joined the visit as well

During the visit, the minister exchanged views on the company’s role in import and export markets with the leadership of Cibes Lift Group, including CEO Per Lidström, Head of Operations Daniel Eriksson and R&D Manager Europe Gustav Ekbäck
